The weather is getting hotter and you might not be in the mood to cook, but try this easy Japanese mixed rice recipe with brown rice and summery edamame soy beans. Pair it with a nice miso flavored grilled salmon steak and you'll have a wonderful Japanese summer dinner in no time!  

Edamame Mixed Rice (Maze Gohan)
Edamame mixed rice, or Japanese maze gohan, is a simple yet delicious brown rice bursting with edamame, nametake (seasoned mushrooms), and seaweed.
