Grilling Fruit
Fruit is perfect for the grill because it is so easy to prepare. Fruit is basically made up of water and sugar and by grilling it you can concentrate the flavors by reducing the water and caramelizing the natural sugars. The process is very simple. You need sliced fruit, water, and cooking oil to make the most basic grilled fruit. What you will get is a quick and easy addition to any meal whether it is as an appetizer, side dish, or dessert.

Most people don't think about cooking fruit, let alone grilling fruit. But the intense heat of the grill, whether gas or charcoal, will add fantastic flavor to any fruit. The sugars in the fruit will caramelize over the fire, picking up the grill flavor and make any fruit ready to eat in minutes, especially topped with a scope of ice cream. Make sure your grill is good and hot and your cooking grates clean then take a look over these grilled fruit recipes to find your next dessert.

Dessert
You can spend all day smoking a brisket, grill up the best shish kebabs of your life, acrobatically flip burgers, but if you grill dessert, that's what everyone is going to remember. Grilled desserts are rare and wonderful and no one will expect it. This might be because most people can't think of a grilled dessert. Truth is there are so many things you can do with dessert on the grill it's amazing you don't see it more often.

Top 10 Dessert Recipes
Grilling dessert is a spectacular end to any cookout. The grill brings out flavors that can't be found any other way. The best strategy is to prepare everything before hand so it only takes a few minutes to serve up something everyone will be talking about. One trick when using a charcoal grill is to add some extra charcoal once the main course is off. Then close down the vest so that the grill stays hot, but burns slow. When dessert time comes just remove the lid and let the fire heat up. A good hot grill caramelizes fruits and sugars quickly so stay close by and cook fast. Most desserts can be grilled in just s few minutes.
