Wendy's testing out a new veggie burger!

Whenever I hear news like this my reaction is a mix of elation and a frustrated "It's about time!". The best way to make sure all restaurants - fast food, fast casual, and independently owned - offer vegetarian and vegan options is to show them that there's a demand for it. Support it or lose it! So if you're lucky enough to live near a Wendy's which is offering a veggie burger, be sure to give it a try!

Veggie burgers are coming to Wendy's!

Other countries have more vegetarian options, including McDonald's veggie burgers in India, Greece, Slovenia, Sweden and the UK. KFC even started offering vegan chicken - but only in Canada. What's an American got to do to get a national chain to offer some vegetarian options?

Now, Wendy's fast food hamburger chain is testing out veggie burgers to offer alongside their usual hamburgers. The catch? They're still in the testing phase, and haven't yet rolled them out nationwide yet. Find out where you can get a Wendy's veggie burger here

Of course, if fast food isn't your thing, you can always pick up some
veggie burgers in the store, or try your hand at making your own veggie burgers at home

Here are some of the best ways to enjoy some familiar chicken dishes - all veganized.
