Red Chile Chorizo- Spicy Mexican Sausage
Chorizo is a must-have in my home, and homemade beats the store-bought stuff any day!  You can even use ground turkey instead of pork for a healthier version!  You can use it anywhere you would use a regular breakfast-type sausage it goes especially well with egg, potatoes and salsa dishes.  I also love to keep it simple and wrap it up with scrambled eggs and cheese in a flour tortilla for a quick breakfast on the go.

Red Chile Chorizo- Spicy Mexican Sausage
This spicy Mexican sausage is delicious for breakfast, especially in a burrito with eggs. Just make sure to make it the night before, to allow for adequate resting time in the refrigerator so the flavors of the seasonings fully permeate through the sausage. You make it a milder version by using Anaheim red chiles or California dried red chiles.
