Treat your mother the best you can on her special day. I wish my mother were around for me. As it is, I'm very lucky to be a mother to a wonderful and thoughtful daughter. Coincidentally, my mother-in-law's favorite dessert is also Pecan Pie. For the longest time, I was not a big Pecan Pie fan. I always thought they were too sweet. This recipe isn't like most other Pecan Pie recipes. It's got tons of nuts and you won't find it overly sweet. I'd find my mother in the kitchen with a rag tied around her hips, barefoot and stirring a pot of hot peanut butter fudge.
