Great Ribs without leaving the house!
Nothing says barbecue like Ribs. That succulent rack fresh from the smoker, slathered with sticky sauce. Pure bone sucking goodness. Smoky and loaded with flavor whether it is sweet, savory, spicy, or a combination of all three. The problem is, how do you do it? What if you don't have a smoker? Can you make good ribs on a gas grill? Yes you can!

Oven Ribs The Next Best Thing to Real Barbecue
Before we begin I would like to explain that ribs are meat on bones. If the bone can be easily pulled out, or simply falls away from the meat, then it isn't a rib anymore, it is a pile of slow roasted pork. The meat on the perfect rib pulls away from the bone when you take a bit and not a second before. To get this, requires nearly perfect timing, but don't be intimidated, because ribs can be forgiving and the low temperature of the oven will bring us slowly to that ideal point. Another quick point, this isn't barbecue. Barbecue needs smoke to chemically alter the flavor and surface of meats. The oven is not going to create that smoke (hopefully) and so while these ribs are a good approximation of those BBQ Joint ribs, they are not the same thing, so don't call this barbecue.
