Grilling Corn
Corn on the cob is the most popular vegetable to find its way onto the grill. The grill, whether charcoal or gas is a great way to cook corn on the cob and you don't have to heat gallons of water to do it. The secret is to let the husks protect the corn from the intense heat.

There are two ways to grill corn to perfection. Husks on or husks off. To prepare with husks on, place corn right into burning coals for a few minutes. The husks will burn and the corn will steam, slowly absorbing smoke while the sugars caramelize to perfection. Husks off, place the corn on the cooking grate over a high heat and grill until the kernels start to turn and charring appears. Turn frequently. This process, caramelizes the sugars and creates a perfect flavor. With this method, the corn can be basted with any of these flavorful butters. Or, take the piping hot corn and brush liberally with any of these great recipes and you'll have a fantastic vegetable course with any meal.

To me, few things say summer like sweet, buttery corn on the cob. Now, the worst way to prepare corn on the cob is to boil away all the flavor. Instead, take it to the grill. Grilling corn is quick and easy and there are so many ways to season it, so fresh cobs can be taken straight from the grill to the plate. These BBQ corn recipes are perfect for any occasion and can be grilled or smoked in small or large batches.

Vegetable Grilling Guide
Grilling vegetables is easy. The fact that more people don't do it is the strange thing. The general rule is to cut the vegetables into pieces that will cook quickly and evenly. All pieces should be of consistent thickness and no more than about 3/4 to 1 inch thick. Soak vegetables in cold water for about 30 minutes before you grill them to keep them from drying out. Pat dry, then brush lightly with oil to prevent sticking. Do not over cook and you'll have vegetables better than you thought possible. If you like grilling vegetables and want to try smaller things use a grilling basket to keep them out of the fire.
