It's that dreaded dieting season once again. You can still have your cake and eat it, too. Just go back to eating desserts occasionally, and make the desserts you do eat count nutritionally. The best way to accomplish this is to make them with super ingredients.

Make Them With Fruit
Watermelon and FetaFruit is so good for you. Make desserts with fruit and you'll benefit from all of the benefits associated with them. Depending on the recipe, of course, but it you pick a sweeter fruit in these recipes feel free to cut back on some of the sugar.

Make Them with Cinnamon
SnickerdoodlesI love cinnamon, because it makes me feel good. Just the smell of it instantly brings back warm and fuzzy memories of home. Even more than that, these days cinnamon is highly touted for its health benefits. Regardless of the memories it invokes or the health benefits, most can't deny anything made with cinnamon tastes good. Below are several of my favorite recipes made with cinnamon.
