This week, find out how Japanese spring rolls, or harumaki, differ from Chinese and Vietnamese spring rolls, and give harumaki a try! Also new on the blog is a new Japanese-fusion drink of kinako (roasted soy bean flour) vanilla soy milk. It's so easy to make and can be enjoyed either hot or cold. Add a spoonful of extra sugar or a dash of cinnamon or nutmeg to give the drink your own touch. Have a great week!

Vegetable Harumaki (Japanese Spring Rolls)
Japanese vegetable spring rolls, or "harumaki" are crispy on the outside with a hearty vegetable filling on the inside. Harumaki make for a great appetizer at parties, or can be enjoyed as a meal.
