Most Japanese meals consist of several small side dishes, known as "okazu". This week, I'm sharing three easy side dishes that can be whipped up in just a few minutes and will add amazing flavor and texture to your weekly meal. Try an easy saute, or "itame" of shimeji mushrooms and fish cake, or a salad of mozuku seaweed and cucumber sunomono, or a rustic natto (fermented soy bean) and grated Japanese nagaimo yam dish.
